One of the industries that All Tex specializes in storm recovery for is the aviation industry. Essentially meaning hangars and large vehicle storage buildings.
We mention this as a specialty because these buildings have specific designs that get affected by storms in particular ways.
For example, hangars and large vehicle storage facilities are generally iron framed structures with insulated metal panel walls and roofing. The panels interlock, which adds to structural integrity and seals the building against most wind and rain (this is what makes it ideal to store expensive aircraft in).
However, if the building skin is compromised (from extremely high winds or perhaps an impact from wind driven objects), the building may expand and contract with the low/high pressure buildup that results. This may cause the building panel seals to break connections, and allow future wind and rain to enter. Also, the skin may then peel back further, causing a lot of internal damage. Not to mention what could happen to the aircraft, of course.
That’s just one example of how a storm affects aircraft hangars.
