Specific damages
There are a myriad of damages that All-Tex can help you recover from. We’ll discuss them here. If you have experienced any (or all) of these damages, give us a call today, and we’ll get you on the road to recovery.
Wind Damage
Wind damage is some of the more obvious damage that a storm leaves behind. From tearing off roofs to blowing out windows to impacts from windblown objects to falling trees (which not only make a sound, but usually fall onto something expensive), wind can wreak havoc on a company’s property.
However, wind damage, while prolific on the surface, can be hidden as well. When a roof gets torn off, it’s often not just the roof that needs replacing – after all, there’s a reason the roof gave way. Or the tearing roof may have pulled on a beam, creating a quasi-domino effect that compromises the structural integrity of your entire building. Or, perhaps the high pressure expansion/contraction caused by a destroyed window has caused panel seals to break in several places – some far away from the “obvious” damage. Truth be told, there have been many times we’ve found damage attributed to winds in a seemingly unscathed part of a building.
This is why you need an expert to assess the wind damage that your company has suffered. And All-Tex stands ready to assist you. Contact us today to learn more.
Hail Damage
Hail damage is most evident on the roofs, skylights, and windows of buildings. Depending on the size of the hailstones, even metal roofs can sustain damage. And, of course, the asphalt (and similar) shingles that cover most multi-tenant buildings are very susceptible to hail damage. In fact, in the case of asphalt shingles, the damage may not be overly obvious – a glance may not show any damage at all, when in reality, the shingles have been fractured. This type of damage may not be apparent until the next heavy rain (Weeks? Months?) Of course, by that time, your insurance company may not want to hear about it…
If you’ve had a hailstorm, and think there may be some damage to your business (whether you can see it or not), give All-Tex a call, and we’ll discuss it. You have nothing to lose except the damage that you may or may not be able to see.
Flood Damage
Water is one of the strongest natural forces on earth. And when the floodwaters rise, there is little anyone can do to stop them. Flood damage is particularly troublesome to companies because of the extensive cleanup that must be factored into any rebuilding effort – while wind or hail may have some debris to clear; a flood cleanup is usually far more involved, and may result in having to remove tons of earth and mud (or worse, like sewage and/or chemicals) from hard-to-reach areas. Plus, while wind or hail damage may (or may not be) be limited to a specific area, a flood usually affects the entire footprint of a structure.
Now, add in the fact that the adverse effects of a flood are extremely varied. Drywall will certainly need replacing, and perhaps wood may need to be replaced as well. Water can also seep into and destroy porous building materials that were not meant to withstand standing water, and (of course) mold growth / environmental concerns are always a factor in any damage/rebuilding effort.
The above factors make clear the need for a flood rebuilding specialist to assess flood damage and get your company back on its feet. All-Tex is that flood damage rebuilding specialist, having close to two decades of experience in helping companies like yours recover from flood damage. And we’re ready to help - one call is all it takes to get your company on high ground again.
Hurricane Damage
Perhaps there is no type of storm that is more devastating than the hurricane. This is because hurricanes cover a huge area; are fairly unpredictable; and, worst of all, over their area of effect, can sport wind, rain, hail, flooding, and even tornadoes. All of the damages we listed further up this page can be experienced with one hurricane – no wonder they get names.
Hurricanes generally happen in the Gulf State region during what is known as “Hurricane Season” – June 1 to November 30 (97% of all known Atlantic hurricanes have fallen into this date range). Thanks to advanced weather technology, there is usually some warning that a hurricane may hit your area – a few days to perhaps a week or so. But even then, the storms can be unpredictable, wildly veering off the “projected path”. It’s a good practice to be prepared even if the storm is predicted to miss you – even small things, like simply boarding up windows, may save you from extensive damage.
Some hurricanes are so deadly that nothing can help, however. It’s hard to prepare for 120+ MPH winds, raging ocean surges, flooding rivers, and punishing wind driven rain. If this happens, your business needs a lot of help – fast. And that’s exactly what we do at All-Tex. No matter what the extent of the hurricane damage is, we’ll come right in and help you recover from all of it. From complete hurricane damage assessment to working with your insurance company to rebuilding, we handle every aspect of hurricane damage recovery. Click here to contact us today.
Tornado Damage
While a hurricane or flood is capable of doing damage over a larger area, the tornado ranks alone in terms of sheer devastation it can cause to objects in its path. Buildings, trees, cars… even entire towns have been literally “wiped off the map” when a tornado rips through - most times, a structure hit by a tornado needs extensive work to just make it recognizable again. Not to mention the storm is fearful to even look at – nothing says “angry weather” like a tornado.
Tornadoes form from fierce storms (even hurricanes can spawn localized tornadoes), so sometimes flooding, hail, and high sustained winds are also a part of the damage equation. This makes any area hit by a tornado very likely to have sustained all manner of damage. Sometimes, the damage is so extensive, a business / building needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. It’s a harrowing time, indeed.
Fortunately, All-Tex has the experience and the “complete scope” of recovery services you need in a time like this. We can help you recover completely, no matter how intense the storm was. Simply click here to contact us, and we’ll get to work making your company whole again.
