Quite often, a severe storm like a hurricane or a tornado will completely knock out communications over a large area. Power goes out, phone lines go down, television and internet are disrupted, and even cell phones likely won’t work if local cell phone towers are damaged.
What this means is you may not be able to reach anyone who can help you assess the damage for days… days you may not have. Remember, timeliness is of the essence.
The above is why we offer a free “Storm Courtesy Call” service. Here’s what this free service entails:
• If a major storm is forecasted to hit your area, call us at 866-921-5715 and let us know.
• Give us all of your personal and business contact information (phone, e-mail, cell, etc). In addition, give us a contact number that will be “away” from the storm (another business location, a relative’s house, etc.) This helps ensure that you will be able to receive a message from us.
• When the storm is over, we’ll get in touch with you to see if you need help assessing any damage (etc).
• You are under no obligation at all – this service is completely free to anyone who wants to use it. Our goal is to give you the peace of mind that we’ll be here if you need us.
